Mentoring is somewhere between coaching, advising and training. In addition to asking coaching questions, the mentor also provides input. There is a real exchange of ideas regarding the topics the participant brings in. So a mentor can also be seen as an external sounding board<\/strong> that is willing to throw his somewhat more technical expertise into the scales as well.\u00a0<\/span<\/p>

A mentor trajectory <\/strong>is structured like a coaching trajectory: an introductory meeting, the agreed
trajectory and an evaluation moment. Other more intensive and long-term trajectories can always be mutually agreed upon after a warm-up period.<\/span> <\/p>

We live in a world of busy diaries and crammed schedules. I got to know Katrin in 2016 during an information session at the Training & Coaching Square. It was not so much the organisation, but rather Katrin's enthusiasm and sheer passion for the coaching profession that prompted me to attend the Root and Grow training courses myself. She got me hooked on coaching.\nIn the meantime, a few years have passed and I have taken several additional coaching courses, but the depth that she brings to her training and accompanying intervisions always stands out.\nKatrin 'breathes' coaching! You can feel her years of expertise in everything she does, and the unbridled enthusiasm with which she imparts her knowledge ensures that the material she has learned becomes truly ingrained.\nI am someone who looks for quality and depth in everything she does, and that is something I find in Katrin's approach, both in her way of training and in her role of coach\/mentor. She monitors very strongly the ICF-norms with her coaches and of course also in her own work. This continuous striving for a qualitative coaching approach typifies her and distinguishes her in the current coaching market.\nAt the moment when I was promoted in my career to head of the Belgian BDO Interim Management division (2017) and was given full P&L responsibility for the first time, I asked Katrin to coach me in this new career phase. What I appreciate in her coaching sessions is the alternation of moments of pure, clean coaching with moments of mentoring and advice where needed. Katrin coaches 'full force': she confronts you, holds up a mirror to you, shakes you awake and makes you think (for weeks afterwards) in order to help you reflect and evolve. Katrin facilitates you in working on yourself, in your own growth process. That was exactly what I needed at that moment, to grow in this new role. She helped me to turn around certain insecurities and doubts and she taught me to stand in my own power based on my own values and strengths, both privately and professionally. To this day, we still keep the lines of communication open. For me, Katrin is THE reference in her field.
